The Watseka Community High School Band program consists of the Marching Warriors, the pep band and the concert band. All band members participate in these ensembles. In addition, students may participate in the WCHS Jazz Band and Sensations Combo.
The WCHS Band program is under the direction of Mr. Erik Parmenter. Mr. Parmenter is in his ninth year of teaching in the Watseka Unit 9 School District. He taught in the Milford School District for 4 years prior to coming to Watseka. Mr. Parmenter earned his bachelor's degree in Music Education from Millikin University in Decatur, IL and his Master's Degree in Education from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL.
